Origin
We used both arabicas and robustas in this Vertuo coffee pod – some washed and some naturally processed – to give this short devil all that intensity and smoothness. Latin American arabicas in this coffee blend give Diavolitto subtle oak wood and leather notes. The Latin American robustas give this Vertuo coffee thick crema and a powerful punch. We found a rare Guatemalan robusta to blend in for a smooth and creamy texture.
Roasting
This Vertuo coffee capsule is a highly-roasted arabica and robusta coffee blend. We split-roast so that each coffee’s origin characteristics stay at play.
Aromatic Profile
The long prewetting of Diavolitto helps to better extract the intensely roasted Robusta coffee in this blend. Thanks to a slow flow and a high extraction temperature the strength and deep intensity are balanced with a smooth texture.
