Floral and velvet
This safari sunrise is all East African arabica coffees. This Vertuo coffee pod has a washed and a naturally processed Ethiopian arabica – that way we could get both the delicate florals of a washed Ethiopian arabica and the wilder floral notes that those natural Ethiopian arabicas are known for. We blended the Ethiopian arabicas with a Kenyan coffee to bring in an added layer of acidity.
We split-roast this medium roast coffee. The Ethiopian arabicas get a lighter, shorter roast to keep those floral notes alive. A longer, darker roast of the Kenyan coffee adds body to this Vertuo coffee capsule. The brewing is also designed to bring out great crema while keeping the floral aromatics intact.
Giornio makes a floral and velvety black coffee, americano or long black. This Vertuo coffee has a cereal base note with white floral in the aromatics.
