Latin America has a lot of arabicas we love. Alto Dolce is a blend of three of them. The smooth caramel and toasted bread notes of Alto Dolce’s aromatics will envelop you. In the Alto size, it’s a long embrace.
With milk, Alto Dolce’s sweet caramel notes surface all the more.

Round & Smooth
We like high-grown, wet-processed Colombian coffees for their aromatic finesse. The arabica beans from mountainous Cundinamarca that go into the Alto Dolce Vertuo coffee pod bring a sugar cane sweetness to the blend. For its sweet cereal note we add Costa Rican coffee and South American arabicas. The three coffees work harmoniously together in a poised balance. Don’t let fast and snappy Latin dancing fool you – these Latin coffees are the epitome of mild and smooth.
Split-roasting the coffees in this mild coffee capsule means we can use a slightly darker roast to develop the toasted bread notes in the Colombian. But you still get the soft caramel notes from the Costa Rican and South American coffees from the lighter roast. A medium extraction of this Vertuo coffee keeps Alto Dolce mild. The slowing flow towards the end gives it a good coffee crema and keeps things in balance.
Alto Doce Vertuo coffee is soft and mellow because of its mildly roasted pure Arabica coffees from Latin America. Soft caramel and toasted bread notes give this long black coffee a comforting smooth and round taste.
